It had an incredible launch, with Guy Kawasaki of all people promoting it through his own Twitter account. Immediately there was a mass surgence in hits over that weekend, and it took no time at all to get over a thousand registered users, and about 14′000 tweets sent out to date.

Guy has also mentioned the app at a few talks / conferences / expos in Silicon valley, the only one I have my hands on so far is the below talk at JellyTalks. (head to about the 13 minute mark)

There’s also been a huge amount of press related to the app that has popped up very quickly, which you can see at www.twitterhawk.com/press

Jump into the file:

On line 757 (or thereabouts) the following string will be added to the end of your content ($buf is your content so far):
